We would like to thank everybody who visited our stand at the Carp and Coarse Show 2006 on 1st and 2nd April and made the weekend a success for all.

Here are a few pictures of our stand. On display, for the first time, our new range of "Fruit of the Loom" T-Shirts.

Thank you to all for taking part in our Show Competition for which we had just over 300 entries. The lucky winner of the Holiday for Two at Etang Le Fays was announced on 15th April (Easter Saturday) at Epping Fishing Tackle's premises. Details have been sent to Carp-Talk  for publication.

"Guess the weight of the Carp" Winner is - Mark Phillips, Banstead, Surrey.

Mark correctly identified the weight of the Common Carp in the picture as 38lb 10oz. Brian Purcell of Epping Fishing Tackle drew Mark's winning entry from the hat. When we contacted Mark he was totally stunned and said he had never won any competitions before. He has now! Congratulations Mark! Enjoy your weeks fishing with our compliments.

The feedback we received over the two days has been of great help to us and, if you have any further questions please don't hesitate to contact us.

Many people asked if Bait Boats can be used at the lake. The answer is YES and we have updated this website to make this more obvious. There was an existing note in the Fishery Rules regarding their use and we have added a note to the bottom of the Home Page to reinforce this fact.
